Congratulations, Miky!

Miky, a 7th grader from Kevalee International School in Bangkok, Thailand, was announced as the recipient of the Best Protoype Award (sponsored by Design Foundation) and Best Overall Middle School Project in the 2021 Bright Spark Invention Challenge.

Students from around the world used the design thinking process to identify a real-world problem, empathize, ideate, and prototype a physical invention for "The Future of the Home."

Miky's project, called the "Smart Solar Cell for Home," is a device to maximize efficiency of home solar panels by orienting their angle (in real time) to the position of the sun overhead.

Check out Miky's project and all the top winners here.
